Tom Hanks-starrer Pinocchio first look out. Film to premiere in September on Disney+ Hotstar

Pinocchio, starring Tom Hanks and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar this September. The makers unveiled the first look of the film today, March 10.

Pinochhio is all set to have an OTT release. The first look of the much-anticipated film, directed by Robert Zemeckis, is out. Pinocchio stars Tom Hanks, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Cynthia Erivo, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Keegan-Michael Key, Lorraine Bracco and Luke Evans, among others.

The official Twitter handle of Disney+ shared the first look of Pinochhio featuring Tom Hanks. "First Look! Check out Tom Hanks as Geppetto and our beloved Pinocchio, voiced by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth. #Pinocchio is coming to #DisneyPlus this September (sic)," read the caption.

Academy Award-winner Robert Zemeckis helms this live-action retelling of the popular tale of a wooden puppet who embarks on a thrilling adventure to become a real boy. Tom Hanks stars as Geppetto, the wood-carver who builds Pinocchio (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) and treat him as if he were his own son. Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be seen as Jiminy Cricket, who serves as Pinocchio’s guide as well as his conscience. Meanwhile, Cynthia Erivo plays the Blue Fairy and Keegan-Michael Key will be seen as the "Honest" John. Lorraine Bracco is Sofia the Seagull and Luke Evans is The Coachman.

Robert Zemeckis, Derek Hogue, Andrew Miano, Chris Weitz and Paul Weitz are Pinocchio's producers, with Jackie Levine, Jack Rapke, Alexandra Derbyshire and Jeremy Johns as the executive producers.
