Tom Brady can bring ‘stuff we just die for’ to broadcasting career: Erin Andrews
NY Post
There are plenty of people wondering how Tom Brady will do when he steps into the Fox broadcast booth this upcoming season, but at least two people at the network are sure he will be a hit.
Fox’s Charissa Thompson and Erin Andrews were on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” when the topic of Brady came up.
Andrews is set to work with Brady as part of Fox’s top NFL broadcast crew this year and after sitting down for lunch with the legendary quarterback, there was no question for her that Brady would be able to intrigue audiences with his knowledge and insight.
“I’ve sat with him at lunch before and he’s been telling stories about his career,” Andrews said. “And it’s stuff we just die for. Love the inside information. And you are just hearing stuff that you’ve just always wanted to know.”
The three joked that it was annoying that Brady has been good at just about everything he’s done.
“His resume supports that he is great at everything he does, so why would this be any different,” Thompson added during the conversation.

For seven straight starts, Clay Holmes has been unable to finish the sixth inning. His struggles to get deeper into games combined with the lack of distance from every rotation-mate besides David Peterson have put a further strain on an overworked and over-hurt Mets bullpen. David Stearns has publicly stated that the relief corps should be upgraded, which he expects to do at the trade deadline, and he has suggested that Triple-A starters could be shortened into relief help.
