To avenge the UP government’s bulldozer action against the rioters, a conspiracy was hatched to derail a train in Gujarat’s Morbi district. Two persons have been arrested.
In order to avenge the government’s bulldozer action in Uttar Pradesh, a conspiracy was hatched to overturn the train in Gujarat. Two persons were arrested for hatching a conspiracy to derail a train in Gujarat’s Morbi district.
According to the railway police, the arrested persons are accused of pelting stones on the railway track to overturn the Morbi-Wankaner DEMU train.
According to Railway Police Inspector JK Jala, “During the interrogation, the accused, Akbar Hookko and Isura revealed that they made the plan after the Uttar Pradesh government bulldozed the houses of rioters. Several relatives of Akbar Hookko lives in UP.”

“A complaint was registered with the police on June 12 by a railway engineer. As per his complaint, he spotted a huge pile of bricks laid on the railway track near Makansar village between Wankaner and Morbi. However, the accident was prevented”.
An investigation into the matter was launched by the police thereafter. “Two people living in Wankaner were questioned after witnessing their suspicious behavior and therefore, the whole conspiracy was exposed,” said the inspector.
According to the police, a woman in Wankaner, who has come from Hyderabad, is also being questioned. “If any suspicious activity is found from her, then she will be arrested as well,” said the police.
