Seeking to leverage technology to avoid complaints of delay in procurement, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation (TNCSC) is all set to implement an e-DPC (Direct Purchase Centre) system for paddy procurement in the State for the kharif marketing season, commencing October 1.
Under the new system, farmers will be required to register details such as their name, details of their land, Aadhaar and bank account numbers on TNCSC websites ( or ) before they sell their paddy at direct purchase centres.

The Karnataka government has drafted a comprehensive master plan for the integrated development of Kukke Subrahmanya temple, the State’s highest revenue-generating temple managed by the Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Department. The redevelopment initiative is estimated to cost around ₹254 crore and aims to enhance infrastructure and facilities for devotees.
