BCCI Ethics Officer Justice (Retd) DK Jain has found Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) president Rupa Gurunath, daughter of former BCCI president N Srinivasan, guilty of Conflict of Interest. In an order passed on Thursday, DK Jain stated that Rupa, the first woman president of a BCCI state unit, is in indirect conflict of interest for India Cements Limited's close association with Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited (CSKCL). Notably, Rupa is a full-time director at ICL. The 13-page order states that CSKCL is a part of the ICL "umbrella". CSKCL owns the Chennai Super Kings IPL franchise. The TNCA can challenge the order in a court of law. The complaint was filed by one Sanjeev Gupta from Indore, who is a former life member of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA).More Related News
