TMC leaders have sought time from Union Home Minister Amit Shah to submit a memorandum on the recent Nagaland shooting and the Centre's stance on AFSPA.
A delegation of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) led by party leader Sukhendu Sekhar Roy has sought an appointment with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The delegation led by Roy, who is a Rajya Sabha MP, is looking to submit a memorandum to the Home Minister over the recent violence in Nagaland. The All India Trinamool Congress today held a candlelight vigil to demonstrate their solidarity with the bereaved families of the 14 civilians who lost their lives at Mon District of Nagaland on the 4th and 5th of December. pic.twitter.com/KQHB2B7Klm
Demands listed in the memorandum include compensation for families of civilians killed in the recent Indian Army operation in Nagaland.
