A total of 21 government school students got the opportunity to participate in a workshop introducing them to competitive exams like JEE which could open the path for them to study at IIT Madras.
A total of 21 students studying in a government school in the Tirunelveli district were selected to participate in a workshop to be conducted in Chennai.
In a rare opportunity, 21 government school students got the opportunity to participate in a workshop introducing them to competitive exams like JEE, which could open the path for them to study at IIT Madras.
Further, 13 girls and 8 students were selected for the programme and, as a part of it, were scheduled to visit Chennai and visit IIT Madras and various institutions.
As a bonus for the students, Tirunelveli District Collector Vishnu paid for 21 students and two teachers’ flight tickets, fulfilling their dream to fly in an airplane and also motivating them to dream big.
