Chandigarh-based food stall owner Sanjay Rana has for the last two months been offering free plates of Chole Bhature to all those who show their Covid-19 vaccination certificates. He said he will continue to do so “till his pocket allows”. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his Mann ki Baat address on Sunday, lauded Sanjay Rana’s efforts to promote vaccination. The 45-year-old food stall owner told India Today, “The idea to offer a free food plate to people came from my children, including my school-going daughter Ridhima, niece Riya and son Akshat. My wife also agreed.”
