Ali Abulaban, a California TikTok star accused of killing his estranged wife, Ana Abulaban, and her lover in October 2021, took the stand Wednesday to testify in his own defense.
"I didn’t expect Ana would ever do that to me, him of all people. She knew how I felt about him. She knew how I felt. I was trying to believe her. I was trying to believe that she wasn’t cheating on me, that she would let me fix this because I was sick and struggling from drugs and mental illness," Ali testified Wednesday, according to FOX 5 San Diego. "But I was trying to fix this, and when I saw that it was him, I couldn’t take it. I couldn’t take the betrayal." Audrey Conklin is a digital reporter for Fox News Digital and FOX Business.
