Thunderstorm, accompanied by rain likely to lash Delhi-NCR over next few hours

The MeT department's regional weather forecasting centre has predicted thunderstorms with light to moderate rain for Delhi-NCR over the next few hours.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday that parts of the national capital region (NCR) will witness thunderstorm, accompanied by light to moderate intensity rain, over the next two hours. pic.twitter.com/biFq1sU8Bo "Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain with wind 40-50 kmph would occur over and adjoining areas of entire Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater-Noida, during next 2 hours," said the MeT department. The IMD's Regional Weather Forecasting Centre (RWFC) in New Delhi also predicted thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity rain with wind speeds of 25-40 kmph over parts of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh for the next two hours.
