The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that rainfall and thundershowers are likely in Delhi over the next six days. According to the weather department, very light rainfall is likely on Tuesday, while there is a possibility of overcast skies, strong winds and light rain on Wednesday. With strong winds and rainfall on the cards, the temperature is also set to dip in the national capital over the next six days. According to the Regional Meteorological Center, New Delhi, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
By September 19, the mercury is expected to dip to around 30 degrees Celsius, according to the forecast.
The city had recorded the maximum temperature at 37.3 degrees Celsius on Monday, four degrees above the normal for this time of the year.
