Three robbers shot dead as police foils bank heist in Assam’s Kokrajhar

At least three robbers were shot dead in an encounter with the police after they allegedly tried to loot a bank in Assam’s Kokrajhar district.

The police in Assam’s Kokrajhar district gunned down three miscreants who allegedly tried to loot a bank. According to the Kokrajhar district police, a six-member gang on Saturday night had tried to loot a branch of the Allahabad bank at Chengmari near Bhotgaon area.
