Three residents of Ladakh have moved the Supreme Court challenging the abrogation of Article 370. The plea says the residents are aggrieved by the "chilling effect" of the "impugned" Act.
Three Ladakh residents have moved the Supreme Court challenging the abrogation of Article 370. Qamar Ali Akhoon, Asgar Ali Karbalai and Sajjad Hussain, who are also the permanent residents of the Union Territory of Ladakh, filed an application for impleadment in the already-pending cases challenging the 2019 presidential orders and amendment. The plea says the residents are aggrieved by the "chilling effect" of the "impugned" act, which has extinguished a "state" which thus overrides the constitutional scheme.More Related News
