
Three IndiGo flights to Visakhapatnam diverted due to poor visibility

IndiGo flights diverted due to weather conditions, impacting travel between Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi on December 7, 2024.
“Three IndiGo flights scheduled to be operated between Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Delhi have been diverted owing to abnormal weather conditions at the Visakhapatnam airport on Saturday (December 7, 2024) morning,” according to the airport authorities.
Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam (6E618) and Bengaluru-Visakhapatnam (6E217) have been diverted to Hyderabad, while Delhi-Visakhapatnam (6E5345) has been diverted to Bhubaneswar.
“Three IndiGo flights from three different airports in the country have been diverted to Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar due to poor visibility,” an Visakhapatnam airport official confirmed to The Hindu.
“This apart 6E575 Chennai to Visakhapatnam flight was delayed and its ETA was 9.58 a.m. on Saturday (December 7, 2024.) Similarly, the 6E7128 Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam flight did not start at its scheduled time,” the officials added.
