If you are feeling low and in dire need of some upliftment, we have a story with us that will surely fill you with joy. So, this story is about a single father who, after his wife’s death, took the responsibility of taking care of his pregnant daughter thousands of miles away. Yes, you read that right. Col Sanjay Pande (Retd) narrated the entire tale in a Twitter thread that has gone viral online, tugging at the heartstrings of several people.
The colonel informed that just over a year after his wife passed away, his daughter announced her pregnancy. However, being a single father, he was clueless about how to nurture a woman during pregnancy. “My wife passed away and a year later, my daughter informed me that I was going to be a granddad soon. Traditionally, I, a father, as a lone surviving parent, would have been the most useless guy around in pregnancy days, post-pregnancy period, baby’s growth etc. I was a fighter,” he wrote.

However, instead of lying around, the colonel decided to become his daughter’s mother as well. He started researching for a traditional diet to be followed during pregnancy through YouTube, elders, books and basically everything he could lay his hands on. He made a batch of laddoos to last for 30 days.
But his biggest problem was the distance. While he lived in Delhi, his daughter lived in the UK. Luckily, Pande had a solution to this issue as well. He vacuum-sealed and froze the laddoos for 96 hours to increase their shelf life before parceling them to the UK.
