This Odisha village hasn't reported a single Covid case since pandemic began in 2020

Karanjara, a small village in Odisha's Danapur panchayat with a primarily fishing community, has not recorded a single case since the outbreak of Covid-19.
In the fight against the second wave of Covid-19, which is sweeping rural areas, a village in Odisha’s Ganjam district has emerged as a “model” for the rest of the state. Karanjara village in Danapur panchayat of Khalikote block, which has 261 households and a population of approximately 1,234 people, has not reported a single case of Covid-19 since the pandemic began last year. The villagers have not yet complained of any Covid-19 symptoms. In January, the administration conducted a Covid test on as many as 32 villagers random, and all of them tested negative.More Related News
