The internet is filled to the brim with videos of people making absolutely bizarre dishes and we have witnessed some really cringe-worthy content over the past months. However, foodies, brace yourselves for this one. Now, a video of a street food vendor from Indore making Maggi parantha has gone viral online. And no, we are not joking.
The now-viral video was originally shared on Instagram by food blogger Prashant Vijayvargiya. It was then reshared by RJ Rohan. To make the Maggi parantha, first, the man added butter to a pan. He then added some veggies and spices and sauted them for a while. Next, he added water, noodles and masala and prepared a simple Maggi. So far, so good. However, he then proceeded to add the cooked Maggi to a parantha dough.
The street food vendor rolled the parantha and cooked it on a pan with some oil. He slathered the overflowing parantha with some butter and cooked it till it was golden-brown in colour. He grated some cheese over it and transferred the cooked parantha to the plate. He served it with some pickles, onions, raita, vegetable curry and green chutney.
The Maggi parantha is available at Parantha House, which is at Meghdoot Chopati, Indore.
