Thiruchitrambalam box office collection Day 9: Dhanush's film remains steady

Dhanush-starrer Thiruchitrambalam has earned Rs 54 crore at the box office. The film is expected to do good business on the weekend.

Dhanush and Nithya Menen's Thiruchitrambalam is performing well at the box office. The film crossed the Rs 50-crore mark on the eighth day of its release. It is all set for a good second week in theatres. Due to rave reviews, Thiruchitrambalam has maintained a steady growth in its collections and is attracting viewers to the theatres.

Director Mithran Jawahar's Thiruchitrambalam opened in cinemas on August 18. The family entertainer, Dhanush, Nithya Menen and Raashi Khanna is hit.

After crossing the Rs 50-crore mark, Thiruchitrambalam maintained a steady growth at the box office. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took to Twitter and wrote, "#Thiruchitrambalam TN Box Office Week 1 - 51.42 cr Week 2 Day 1 - 3.47 cr Total - 54.89 cr #Dhanush (sic)."

Prime Media, a popular distribution network in North America pointed out that Thiruchitrambalam will have a great second week at the theatre. "Blockbuster #Thiruchitrambalam heading onto strong 2nd wk. Movie will continue in 60+ theater & opening in few new (sic)."
