Dhanush and Nithya Menen's Thiruchitrambalam is performing exceptionally well at the box office. The film witnessed growth at the box office in its second weekend.
Dhanush and Nithya Menen's Thiruchitrambalam is setting the box office on fire ever since it hit the theatres on August 18. The film is now inching towards Rs 70 crore at the box office (in Tamil Nadu) and is likely to enter the Rs 100-crore-club soon. This is one of Dhanush's highest-grossing films in recent times. At this rate, Thiruchitrambalam will be a profitable venture for the producers and the distributors.
Directed by Mithran Jawahar, Thiruchitrambalam is an emotional family entertainer. The film has been showered with love since day 1.
Thiruchitrambalam witnessed a slight growth at the box office during the second weekend. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took to Twitter and wrote, "#Thiruchitrambalam TN Box Office Witnesses GROWTH on 2nd Saturday. Week 1 - Rs 51.42 cr. Week 2 Day 1 - Rs 3.47 cr. Day 2 - Rs 4.61 cr. Day 3 - Rs 5.22 cr. Total - Rs 64.72 cr (sic)."

Apart from Tamil Nadu, Thiruchitrambalam is also performing well in the international circuit. Trade expert Ramesh Bala wrote, "#Thiruchitrambalam is 2022's 3rd Highest Grossing Tamil movie in Australia after #Vikram and #Beast (sic)."
