Things to do to celebrate Father's Day in Toronto

From Ribfest to catching a Euro Cup game, there are plenty of ways to celebrate dads and father figures this weekend in Toronto.
Julian Sleath, the general manager of Yonge-Dundas Square, says there is free programming happening at that location throughout the weekend.
"We have an amazing lineup of buskers from across Toronto and southern Ontario, and sets of giant games for everyone to play," he said. "We never charge admission and it's very easy to get to us on the TTC."
Next door at Little Canada, founder Jean Louis Brenninkmeijer is encouraging fathers and sons to get "littlized" to commemorate a fun day together. The tourist destination's Littlization Station creates a 3D figurine of yourself that can be placed in the miniature world's population.
"Little Canada is a unique and one of a kind experience telling the story of Canada through the art of miniature," Brenninkmeijer said.
"What's really exciting about Father's Day is that it allows visitors to come in and hear those stories, see those stories but more importantly share stories."
If you're feeling more in the mood to dabble in some Italian culture, music and food, then you can make your way to College Street for Taste of Little Italy this weekend.
"We've been putting on Taste of Little Italy for over 20 years and I think this year is turning out to be one of the best yet," said Connie Mastrangelo, chair of the Little Italy BIA and co-owner of Cafe Diplomatico, where Euro Games will also be playing throughout the weekend.
In the city's east end, Ribfest is taking over Woodbine Park throughout the weekend, just a short walk away from the beach. Meanwhile, Centreville Amusement Park on the Toronto Islands is celebrating fathers by offering them a free all-day ride pass.
The Blue Jays are also set to play at the Rogers Centre on Sunday.
