CCTV footage of a robbery that took place at a hardware store in Uttar Pradesh’s Chandauli has come to the fore and there’s a peculiar reason why it is going viral on social media. The footage shows a thief who had entered the hardware store with the motive of robbing it and broke into a little dance while he was at it. The police have filed a case against the perpetrator and are currently in search of this ‘dancing thief’.
The hardware store where this incident took place is located in Chandauli market. It belongs to Anshu Singh. The incident took place in the wee hours of April 16. The thief entered the shop without much struggle and firstly took away what he could find at the cash counter. Then, he spotted the CCTV camera installed at the shop. However, that did not scare him off. He rather started dancing after spotting it. Was he celebrating his loot? Well, only he has the answer to this question. As of now, the investigation is underway.
In the viral video, the thief's face is hardly visible as he covered it carefully with a cloth.

The next morning, when owner Anshu Singh reached the shop, he found that the shutter was broken. After entering the shop, he saw that the cash was also missing from his drawer. When he inspected the CCTV footage, he saw this bizarre footage. Following this, the Chandauli police were informed. They are currently investigating the matter.
