The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted an inspirational video of what it means to play in the India vs Pakistan game ahead of the two teams' clash on Sunday, 4 September. The BCCI posted the video via their social handles, where Indian head coach Rahul Dravid can be seen explaining why these matches mean so much for the preparations of the players.

The former India player, Rahul Dravid speaking at a press conference said that these matches were good for the players to test themselves out in pressure situations. When India faced Pakistan in their opener in the current edition of the tournament, the game went to the final over. After a small debacle at the start of the innings, India pulled things back right at the end of a see-sawing match. Led by a Hardik Pandya fightback in the final two overs, India chased their target down in a thrilling encounter.
For this match, India will need all the energy and hype they can muster since Ravindra Jadeja would not be a part of the clash. Jadeja has been ruled out of the game and the tournament as well after a knee injury, which could possibly set him back for a long time.
It is possible that the likes of Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant will get a a chance into the game as India try to find a decent combination without their 3-D allrounder.
