Karan Johar just announced his next production - a film on late lawyer-activist C Sankaran Nair, who was also the former President of the Indian National Congress in 1897. C Sankaran Nair became a member of the Viceroy's Executive Council in 1915 but resigned his post after the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre in 1919. Dharma Productions' new film, titled The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair, is a courtroom drama set against the backdrop of the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre with the spotlight on the battle that C Sankaran Nair fought against the British Raj to uncover the truth in court.
