The Kashmir Files team met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanatah today. Earlier, the UP government had made the movie tax-free in the state.
The Kashmir Files team, including director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, and the film’s producer Abhishek Agarwal reached Lucknow on Sunday, March 20. The movie team met Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today.
Uttar Pradesh is among the list of states that has made 'The Kashmir Files' movie tax-free in the state.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath took to Twitter to congratulate The Kashmir Files team.
“The film The Kashmir Files boldly reveals the inhuman horror of religious bigotry and terrorism. Undoubtedly, this film will work to make the society and the country aware. Congratulations to the entire team for producing such a thought-provoking film,” CM Yogi Adityanath said in a tweet (in Hindi).
Calling it “golden period for Indian civilisation”, the movie's director Vivek Agnihotri said, “The Kashmir Files has done a phenomenal job in uniting all Indians across the world and has taken a step towards your (CM Yogi’s) vision of a united India.
