The Kashmir Files box office collection Day 2: Anupam Kher's film shows tremendous growth, goes for big win

Anupam Kher's The Kashmir Files received phenomenal response at the box office. As a result, the screens and shows were increased, with unprecedented advance booking on Sunday, March 13.
The Kashmir Files, which released as per schedule on March 11, is experiencing phenomenal growth in theatres. Starring Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty, the film is set in 1990, during the Kashmir insurgency. It tells the true story of brutal sufferings endured by Kashmiri Pandits back then. The Kashmir Files is on its way to becoming a massive hit in theatres, given the amazing response to the film.
The Kashmir Files had an extraordinary opening at the box office and earned Rs 3.55 crore. On day two, huge crowds reached the theatres to watch the film. It even surpassed the other movies running in theatres in many regions. While The Kashmir Files had a limited release, due to demand, the number of screens and shows have been increased now.

As for the box office collection, it more than doubled on Day 2.
