The Hundred 2022: London Spirit all-rounder played his 600th T20 match during his team's match against Manchester Originals on Monday.
Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, on Tuesday, August 9, wished Kieron Pollard after the former West Indies skipper became the first cricketer to take part in 600 T20 matches. The Trinidadian Pollard accomplished the feat during the London Spirit’s match against Manchester Originals on Monday, August 8 at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
Pollard had a decent day in the office after he stayed unbeaten on 34 off 11 balls with one four and four sixes. The Spirit, captained by Eoin Morgan, went on to win the match by 52 runs. Pollard, however, didn’t get a chance to bowl during the Originals’ run-chase.
Bumrah took to Twitter and wrote, “600 games! What a milestone Amazing achievement for an amazing player! Congratulations Polly.” Pollard made his T20 debut back in 2006 and is still going all guns blazing in the shortest format of the game.

Pollard and Bumrah also played crucial roles in MI winning the IPL as many as five times. Bumrah, in the meantime, has been ruled out of the upcoming edition of the Asia Cup after he sustained a back injury.
