The CNN host gave a fierce reprimand to a guest who made a bonkers declaration during a debate about Trump running for a third term.

Panelists were discussing President Donald Trump’s repeated references to seeking a third term even though it is constitutionally forbidden.

Democratic pundit Karen Finney said to take the president at his word even if he keeps framing the possibility as the idea of others. His disrespect for the Constitution and rule of law is that blatant, she said.

Then Ashley Hayek of the Trump-supporting America First Works uttered a literal show-stopper: “He would be elected four times but only serving [a] third [term] since the 2021 [election] was stolen.”

She regurgitated 2020 election rubbish as if she were declaring the world round instead of spewing the lie that led to an insurrection. That fired up Phillip into a shutdown response after she quieted an objection from another panelist.
