The Ashes: Usman Khawaja scored 137 off 260 balls in what was his first Test innings since August 2019 and Mike Hussey said that the batsman showed that he still has a lot left to offer in Test cricket.
Usman Khawaja's century on Day 2 of the fourth Ashes Test shows how much he still has to offer in the longest format of the game, former Australia batter Michael Hussey has said. Khawaja scored 137 off 260 balls in what was his first Test match since August 2019.
"We thought the selectors had a headache with Josh Hazlewood and Scott Boland but they have got a whole bunch more of headaches now. He batted brilliantly. It was not an easy pitch to bat on, there was some uneven bounce and some seam movement. But he looked so solid in his defence," said Hussey on Cricbuzz.
