Nathan Lyon became the third from his country to go past 400 wickets in Test cricket as Australia beat England by nine wickets in the first Ashes Test at the Gabba on Saturday.

Having resumed on 220 for two with the match still within their grasp, England were bowled out for 297, leaving Australia needing only 20 runs to win.
