The Adelaide Oval said in a statement that a member of the broadcast crew has tested positive for Covid-19 and the organizers are sanitising the relevant areas and tracing and informing the person's close contacts.
A member of the broadcast crew for the second Ashes Test at the Adelaide Oval has tested positive for Covid-19, the venue has said in a statement on Sunday. It further said that relevant areas have been sanitized and the fourth day of the Test, which is the first day-night match of the five-Test series, has gone ahead as was scheduled.
"We have been advised that a member of a broadcast crew has returned a positive COVID result as part of their scheduled testing. SA Health are aware and we have begun to trace and notify this person’s close contacts," said the Adelaide Oval.
