However, the visitors have opted to retain the batting unit that collapsed to 68-all out in the Boxing Day Test where Australia took an unbeatable 3-0 lead and retained the Urn.
England have made just one change to the side that lost in Melbourne with assistant coach Graham Thorpe confirming that both Ollie Robinson and Chris Woakes were unavailable for selection due to shoulder injuries.Thrope, who will be in charge of the team in Sydney due to the absence of Chris Silverwood who tested Covid-19 positive during his isolation in Melbourne, said he expected 'caged tigers' Broad and Ben Stokes to step up and deliver big for England.
