The Ashes: A power failure at the Gabba halted global broadcast coverage of the first Test between England and Australia early on day four in Brisbane on Saturday. Coverage resumed after an interruption of about half an hour.
Cricket Australia (CA) chief executive Nick Hockley apologised for a power outage at the Gabba that disrupted global coverage early in the fourth day of the first Ashes Test on Saturday. A CA spokesperson said soon after the disruption that the power issue had affected the feed after the broadcast blackout.
"I just want to apologise to all the fans out there," Hockley told ABC Sport.
