Allan Border felt "sorry' for England opener Haseeb Hameed for having to deal with "hand grenades" from Australian fast bowlers in the final session of the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne on Day 2.
Former Australia captain Allan Border "rarely" feels sorry for England cricketers but he couldn't help but sympathise with opener Haseeb Hameed, who had to deal with fiery spells from Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Scott Boland in the final hour of Day 2 of the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne on Monday.
England batters had to survive a difficult 12 overs in the final hour of play after Australia's first innings folded for 267 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
