Yuvan Shankar Raja revealed that Thalapathy Vijay's son Jason Sanjay is a huge fan of him. During an event in Chennai, the composer shared a heartwarming story.
Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja completed 25 years in the Tamil film industry yesterday, February 28. To mark the special occasion, Yuvan met the media and thanked those who supported him throughout the journey. At the event, he revealed that Thalapathy Vijay's son Jason Sanjay was a huge fan of him. Then, he went on to narrate the conversation he had with Vijay.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is one of the most celebrated composers in Kollywood. For 25 years, the composer entertained the audience with his music. Ajith Kumar's Valimai was his latest outing, which is currently running in theatres across the globe.
Speaking at the event, Yuvan Shankar Raja said that Jason Sanjay (son of Thalapathy Vijay) was his fan. Explaining further, he said, "Vijay's associate sent a picture of his son [Jason] wearing a T-shirt saying 'Yuvanism'. I did not know how to react. When I met Vijay later, he said that he had asked his associate to send the photo to me. He revealed that his son was my fan and that he wanted me to know. I did not share the photo because it is an extremely personal moment."
At the meeting, Yuvan also revealed that he had written a women-oriented script. The film is expected to go on floors later this year or early 2023. Further details about Yuvan Shankar Raja's directorial debut will be out in the coming months.
Yuvan will collaborate with actor-singer Silambarasan AKA Simbu for an independent song. His upcoming films include Naane Varuven and Viruman, among other projects.
