Doha: Telangana Gulf Samithi Qatar (TGS), an affiliated organisation of the ICBF celebrated the 10th anniversary of India’s youngest state Telangana at Loyola International School Al Wukair.
Ambassador Indian to Qatar H E Vipul presided as chief guest and ICBF Vice-President Deepak Shetty as the guest of honour. Indian Cultural Centre President AP Manikantan, Vice-President Subramanya Hebbagelu, General Secretary Mohan Kumar, Advisory council member Nandini Abbagouni, ICBF Managing Committee members Zareena Ahad, Neelambaro Savardekar, Muhammad Kunhi, Shankar Goud, Kulwinder Singh, were the other guests present at the occasion.
Folk singer Smt Lavanya Shivagouni and Fusion singer Arun Kumar Dasari were specially flown from India to Qatar made the audience croon to their tunes. TGS President Madhukar Maidam and Managing Committee members includes Gaddi Raju, Saigiri Vamsi,

Maidam outlined the benevolent activities TGS has been doing mainly for the welfare of workers' community for last 12 years and pledged to continue the activities along with focus on new initiatives like life insurance.
