A human smuggler from Mexico was arrested by Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas National Guard, after leading troopers on a high-speed chase before fleeing on foot.
Troopers and members of the Texas National Guard arrested the suspect at the edge of the Rio Grande River after a brief struggle, Olivarez said, and during the struggle the suspect kicked the trooper. Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
