Terrorist hideout busted by Army, police in Arunachal Pradesh; arms, ammo recovered

A temporary hideout camp of suspected NSCN-KYA was busted by the security forces in Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district.
The security forces busted a temporary hideout militant camp of the suspected National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-KYA) in the Changlang district in Arunahcal Pradesh.
The operation was jointly carried out by the 14th Rajput Regiment and Arunachal Pradesh Police at 22 miles Miao-Vijaynagar Road.
The security forces recovered various arms and ammunitions which included one AK 56, 46 live rounds, one magazine, seven detonators, 800 gms explosives, two codex wire, one Walkie-talkie set and other ration items.India had designated NSCN-KYA as a terrorist organization under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in 2015 in response to an attack on an army convoy in Manipur.
