The terrorist group Kashmir Freedom Fighters has claimed responsibility for the killing of a bank manager in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district.
Hours after a bank manager was shot dead in South Kashmir's Kulgam district, the Kashmir Freedom Fighters group has claimed responsibility.
A letter released by the terrorist group mentions that its cadre shot dead the bank manager. The terrorists have also threatened that "anyone involved in Kashmir's demographic change will meet the same fate."
"So, it's an eye opener for all those non-locals who are living in fool's paradise that the Modi-led government will settle them here. It is nothing but an illusion for them and they should now understand the reality that it will cost them their lives," the letter read.
"Think it's not too late; otherwise, the next turn will be yours..," it added.
Terrorists fired upon the man, identified as Vijay Kumar, who works at the Ellaquai Dehati Bank at Are, Mohan Pora, in Kulgam district in South Kashmir. He was shot right outside his office. Kumar, who hailed from Hanumangarh in Rajasthan, was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The incident comes just two days after a Hindu woman was shot dead by terrorists in the Gopalpora area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir. The woman, identified as Rajni Bala, was a school teacher, police said. She lived in Samba in the Jammu division with her husband and daughter.
