Amid the rising number of Covid-19 cases, schools in Telangana will remain shut from Jan 8 to 16

Telangana schools will remain shut from January 8 to 16 as the Chief Minister of the state K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday announced holidays for all educational institutions during a review meeting.

Earlier, the chief minister decided to reopen schools following Covid-19 protocols on September 1. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has directed the concerned departments and officials to ensure cleanliness in all government educational institutions as they have remained closed for a long time.
