Telangana Police has identified five accused involved in the gang rape of a minor girl in Hyderabad. Here are the top points.
A minor girl, who went to a club for a party, was allegedly gang-raped by young boys inside a Mercedes car in Telangana's Hyderabad on Saturday, May 28. The police have identified five accused in the case.
The accused have been identified as Sadduddin Malik and Omer khan. The other three accused are minors.
The BJP had alleged that the son of a Waqf Board official and the grandson of a minister were involved in the crime. However, the police said that the home minister's grandson was not involved.
Speaking about the incident, DCP Joel Devis said, "Five accused have been identified in the case. Among them are three minors."
However, an MLA's son was allegedly involved in the incident and the car in which the rape occurred belongs to a Telangana MLA, according to sources.

1) On May 28, the 17-year-old girl had gone to a pub in Hyderabad. The teen reportedly befriended a boy and left the club with him and his friends. They had allegedly promised to drop her home.
