Telangana and Puducherry Governor, Tamilisai Soundararajan met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Wednesday, April 6. She is also scheduled to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The Governor’s visit to Delhi has attracted significance amid the widening gap between Pragati Bhavan and the Raj Bhavan in the recent past. Interestingly, Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao is also in Delhi.
Sources say that since June 2021, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has not met the governor or attended any programs at which she was present.
Sources in the Raj Bhawan said that the CM was not allowing top government officials to meet or brief the Governor.
Recently, the pre-Ugadi event hosted by Raj Bhawan witnessed KCR cabinet ministers skipping the event.
Even during the Governor’s visit to Sammakka Saralamma jatara in Mulugu district and during her recent visit to the newly inaugurated Ydadri Temple, she was not received by district officials.
