The BJP in Telangana will hold 'Hindu Ekta Yatra' in Karimnagar on May 25 as part of their Hanuman Jayanti celebration.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold a “Hindu Ekta Yatra” as part of the Hanuman Jayanti celebrations in Karimnagar on May 25. State BJP president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar inspected the arrangements on Sunday.
The yatra will begin from Vysya Bhavan and is aimed at highlighting the unity of Hindus Telangana BJP chief said. He appealed to all "Hindus" to take part in the yatra and make it a success.
Prominent seer Sri Srinivasananda Swamy has been invited as chief guest for the yatra.
‘’BJP had been organising the Hindu Ekta Yatra for the last 12 years on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. However, it could not be held in the last two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This year, we have decided to resume the yatra to highlight the power of Hindus and the spirit of their unity,” said Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
Sanjay said the turnout at this year’s yatra could be huge, compared to previous years. Thousands of youth from various countries, including Singapore and Dubai are coming to Karimnagar to take part in the yatra, the Karimnagar parliamentarian said.
“A large number of devotees donning Lord Hanuman's make-up will take part in the yatra,” he said.
