Hours before he was to appear in the NEET examination, a 19-year-old medical aspirant in Tamil Nadu's Salem was found hanging from the ceiling of his room. CM MK Stalin has said that a resolution to get "permanent exemption" from NEET would be passed in Tamil Nadu on Monday.

A 19-year-old medical aspirant in Tamil Nadu's Salem was found hanging from the ceiling of his room on Sunday, hours before he was to appear in the NEET examination. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Dhanush. The teenager had appeared twice in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) before but could not attain the required marks.
