Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's pre-wedding festivities began with full cheer today, April 13. Neetu Kapoor, who was missing her husband, Rishi Kapoor, got emotional as her son’s wedding is near. A source present at Alia-Ranbir’s mehendi ceremony revealed that Neetu Kapoor got teary eyed and shared memories of her own mehendi and engagement.
Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor and Karan Johar, among others, reached Vastu for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s mehendi ceremony. During the event, Ranbir’s mom, Neetu Kapoor, became nostalgic about her own mehendi and engagement with late actor, Rishi Kapoor. A source exclusively told IndiaToday.in that she got teary eyed. We also learnt that Neetu and Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan, were spotted bonding and clicking lots of photos with family members at Alia and Ranbir’s mehendi.
Neetu Kapoor had shared a throwback photo of her and Rishi Kapoor’s engagement on social media today, April 13. She captioned the post, "Fond memories of baisakhi day as we got engaged 43 years back on 13th April 1979 (sic)."
While Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been tight-lipped about their wedding date, IndiaToday.in has learnt that they will tie the knot tomorrow, April 14. Their haldi function at 9 am will be followed by the chooda ceremony, which are scheduled to take place in the morning.
