
Team Qatar eyes medals at Shotgun World Cup

Doha: A six-member Qatari shooting team, led by Tokyo-bound Mohammed Al Rumaihi, is currently taking part in the Shotgun World Cup in Lonato, Italy.
The Qatari contingent, accompanied by Mohammed Ahmed Taher, Executive Director of the Qatar Shooting and Archery Association, also includes prominent shooters Saeed Abusharib (Trap Men), Rashid Hamad Al Athba (Trap Men) Abdulaziz Al Attiyah (Skeet Men), Nasser Al Hamidi (Trap Men) and Ali Al Ishaq (Skeet Men). Al Rumaihi, who has already booked a ticket to the Summer Olympics, will compete in Men’s Trap event. The 10-day event which kicked off yesterday, sees a record number of over 400 shooters from 57 countries in action. Chef de Mission Taher confirmed that the Qatari team is ready to make its presence felt during the event and the shooters are targeting good results.More Related News
