The Department of Higher Education is understood to have transferred 31 lecturers from DIETs (District Institute of Education and Training) to government colleges of teacher education without the official sanction of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The National Council for Teacher Education has, so far, not given any written consent to the request made to that effect by the Higher Education Department of Tamil Nadu, official sources said.More Related News
