Tata Nexon and Tata Altroz get multi-language voice control support courtesy Mihup

Harman International and Mihup have partnered to provide Hinglish voice command support for vehicles like the Tata Nexon and Tata Altroz enabling easier interaction between owners and their vehicle.
Voice command isn’t new, but in case of most vehicles it is severely restricted by the language barrier. The next and obvious step forward in the Indian context is adapting to local languages and with that in mind, Tata Motors’ products like the Nexon and Altroz now offer Hinglish support. Harman International, the company behind the infotainment units in Tata products, and its tie-up with Mihup has enabled users to interact with their vehicle in Hinglish with Indian dialect support. Mihup’s AVA Auto will also support “Tamilish” and “Benglish” soon as well with a plan to cover all major Indian languages by 2022. AVA Auto enables owners to access features like media, phone, navigation in multiple accents and dialects. The feature runs without internet connectivity as well. For now, the multi-language voice command support is available only in the Tata Nexon and Tata Altroz, but other products are expected to gain this feature as well.More Related News
