Namgyal had attended the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas earlier this year in Drass, accompanied by his daughter Tsering Dolkar, a teacher.
"Fire and Fury Corps pays tribute to Mr Tashi Namgyal on his sudden demise," the Leh-based Fire and Fury Corps wrote on its social media handle X.
The bus, owned by Purple Travels, was headed from Lohegaon in Pune district to Birwadi village in Mahad (Raigad) carrying people going to attend a marriage ceremony when the disaster struck.
All the three accused have been arrested. On Friday, the CBI also filed its charge sheet in the case.
