Blighted by a polluting factory, the ancient Italian city of Taranto has never been on the tourist map. But huge investment in restoring a phenomenal trove of architectural treasures is poised to drastically change its fortunes.
Taranto, Italy (CNN) — The Puglia region envelops the "heel" of the boot-shaped Italian peninsula.
