Tamil Nadu: Woman police constable dies in car accident, 2 others injured

A woman police constable lost her life when the police flying squad vehicle collided with a lorry in Vellore on Sunday night. Two other officials suffered injuries.

A woman police constable in the Vellore North police station lost her life when the police flying squad vehicle collided with a lorry in Vellore on Sunday night. Two other officials suffered grave injuries. Head Constable M Malathi and other officials were on their way to Gudiyatham in Vellore district when their vehicle met with the accident. The flying squad vehicle was completely crushed, killing the 45-year-old constable on the spot.
